ABOUT ROBIN

My name is Robin Benzrihem and I am a French photographer and videographer based in Bordeaux, France. I am naturally curious, and my original background in education has allowed me to enjoy shooting a wide range of photo styles. My passion is shared between nature, the outdoors and landscape, as well as people and events, but also shapes, geometry, symmetry and urban life, including architecture, interior design, real estate and street photography. I am an avid learner and strive to push the boundaries of what I can do with a camera.

While my love for the outdoors has grown over the many trips I have taken, from New Zealand to the United States, from Mexican to Ireland and Iceland, my taste for minimalism developed when I was living in Austin, Texas, between 2013 and 2016. I took advantage of this time to travel around North America, but it is in West Texas that I became acquainted with minimalism and geometry, which have had a profound impact on my shooting style.

Whether it was the two years I later lived in Ireland or my time in France, I have diversified my style and interests. And while I still love outdoors and urban photography, I have discovered a passion for wedding photography because of my love and curiosity for people.

Still today, I tend to look for geometry everywhere, whether in portraits, buildings, streets, water reflection or more generally in natural landscapes. But these years of travels and of meeting new people have helped me develop my need to preserve, at my own level, the environment. This is why, through my photography or writing, I try to raise people’s awareness on how fragile nature is and to show how to reduce, whenever possible, one’s carbon footprint.
